Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere in Knutsford, on-site, seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep estates facilities, equipment and guest environments safe, reliable and impeccably maintained, delivering the high‑quality experience Fairmont is known for.

You will perform routine repairs across guest rooms and public areas, assist with HVAC and electrical tasks, follow safety standards, and work with engineering and housekeeping teams to ensure smooth operations.

Formación

• Diploma or vocational certification in mechanical maintenance or equivalent.
• 2–3 years in a maintenance/technician role within hospitality or facilities.
• Knowledge of building systems including mechanical plant and hotel infrastructure.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical/technical issues.
• Safe use of tools and repair practices; interpret manuals/diagrams.
• Excellent spoken/written English and guest communication.
• Organised and detail-oriented with safety focus.
• Team player with professional conduct aligned to Fairmont brand.

Responsabilidades

• General maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, spa, and back-of-house.
• Complete preventative tasks and inspections to reduce downtime.
• Assist with HVAC, electrical, plumbing and system troubleshooting.
• Ensure safety compliance and report hazards promptly.
• Respond to guest maintenance requests professionally.
• Log completed work and support asset-management processes.
• Collaborate with engineering and housekeeping for smooth operations.
