Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere in Knutsford, is seeking a Cost Controller to monitor budgets, expenditures and provide financial insights that drive cost efficiency and align with company objectives. You will play a key role in forecasting accuracy and strategic decision-making within a luxury hotel environment.

The role involves developing cost control systems, preparing detailed reports, reviewing supplier invoices, and supporting senior management with KPI development and cost performance

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong time management with multi-tasking.
• Willingness to work across a 24h operational schedule when required.

Mansioni

• Develop, maintain, and manage cost control systems and procedures.
• Prepare detailed cost reports and variance analyses to highlight risks, trends, and opportunities.
• Monitor and track budgets, commitments, expenditures, and forecasts.
• Review and validate supplier invoices, purchase orders, and change orders for accuracy.
• Conduct monthly cost reviews and prepare reports for senior management.
• Assist in developing financial models and KPIs to improve cost performance visibility.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external audit requirements.
• Additional responsibilities in absence of line manager or senior employee.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned including working in a different department or restaurant, than usually assigned.
