Job summary

The Roseate Reading is seeking a Reception Supervisor / Duty Manager for a full-time position at our 5* luxury hotel in Reading. You will oversee front-desk operations, ensure guest satisfaction, and lead a small team during shifts.

Responsibilities include checking in/out guests, answering calls and emails, providing local information, boosting sales, and covering Duty Management shifts. Fluent English and 4*-5* hospitality experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Hotel Receptionist 4*- 5* is essential.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and be able to multitask.
• Friendly, enthusiastic approach.
• A proactive approach to service.
• Good industry awareness and ability to implement new standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide constant customer service at the front desk.
• Check-in and check-out of guests by giving an excellent welcoming and departure experience.
• Answering telephone and email inquiries.
• Providing guest with information on the local area.
• Deal with customer comments in an efficient and professional manner.
• Covering Duty Management shift.
• Maximising sales.
