Job summary

Chewton Glen in New Milton, a luxury English country hotel, is seeking a Reception Supervisor to assist daily operations and supervise the reception team in the absence of the Reception Manager.

You will manage rotas, provide training, maintain guest records, and ensure high standards of service across Front Office and related departments. Experience in 4- or 5-star hotels and Opera proficiency are essential; excellent communication and a passion for guest satisfaction are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Reception Supervisor in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
• Proficient in Opera property management system.
• Attention to detail with strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the smooth running of the Reception department and staff rotas.
• Maintain guest history records and cashiering procedures with accuracy.
• Support front of house with reservations and guest inquiries.
• Ensure company policies, privacy and data protection are followed.
