Job summary

Soho House in the United Kingdom is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support a busy kitchen, keeping equipment and spaces clean and compliant with HACCP standards. The role focuses on washing and maintaining crockery, utensils and kitchenware, while assisting with waste disposal and stock replenishment.

You should be reliable, flexible and able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. The position offers weekly pay and staff perks as part of a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience with busy kitchen cleaning and maintenance is preferred.
• Knowledge of hygiene and basic food safety practices.
• Ability to follow safety policies and SOPs in a kitchen environment.
• Reliability and discretion to support the kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse and sanitise all kitchen items including pots, pans, dishes and glassware.
• Operate dishwashing equipment safely and in line with guidelines.
• Maintain clean and organised kitchen workspaces and storage areas.
• Dispose of kitchen waste appropriately and keep areas tidy.
• Follow Food Safety and Health & Safety policies in line with UK regulations (HACCP).
• Support stock replenishment and assist during peak service times.
• Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely.
