Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park in London is seeking a Receptionist to join the front office team. You will work a rotating 39-hour week across 5 days, providing warm welcome, accurate reporting, and seamless guest support in a luxury hotel environment.

Strong communication and a customer‑centric mindset are essential. Hospitality experience is a plus but not mandatory, and you will join a team renowned for exceptional service and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a passion for delivering high quality customer service.
• Resilience and a positive, can-do attitude are essential.
• Previous hospitality experience is beneficial, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greeting guests upon check-in and check-out, ensuring standards are met at all times.
• Preparing reports such as credit checks and departures.
• Issuing refunds, invoices and guest gift cards.
• Answering guest phone calls and collaborating with other departments to fulfil guest requests.
