Job summary

Netherhall Mead is seeking a caring and dedicated Lunchtime Supervisor to join our team. You will support pupils during lunchtime, helping to create a safe, positive and inclusive environment while encouraging independence and wellbeing.

Visits to the school are welcomed. Applicants will need Enhanced DBS checks and pre-employment checks in line with safeguarding guidance, with DBS and other checks carried out on shortlisted candidates.

Qualifications

• Caring and patient with children with SEND and complex needs.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Reliable, positive and proactive in approach.
• Willing to undertake relevant training.
• Brings enthusiasm and warmth and a desire to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Assist with feeding, personal care and other lunchtime needs under teaching staff guidance.
• Encourage pupils’ communication, social skills and independence.
• Supervise play and lunchtime activities, ensuring pupil safety and wellbeing.
• Work closely with staff to support pupils’ individual needs.
