Job summary

Teach Now is seeking a caring and reliable Midday Supervisor for a specialist secondary school in Hertfordshire. You will supervise lunchtimes, support pupils with diverse needs, and help with routines and transitions to keep the environment calm and welcoming.

The ideal candidate is calm, patient, and able to build positive relationships. You will work collaboratively with staff, have safeguarding responsibilities, and start immediately on a part-time, long-term temporary basis.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during lunchtime and in communal areas.
• Support pupils with autism, learning difficulties and communication needs.
• Encourage positive social interaction and appropriate behaviour.
• Help pupils follow lunchtime routines and transitions back to lessons.
• Respond calmly and consistently to individual needs.
• Work closely with teaching and support staff.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment.
