Job summary

EQUA Mead Learning Trust is seeking a Midday Supervisory Assistant to help provide a safe and enjoyable lunchtime experience for pupils. You will supervise in the dining hall and outdoors, support play and social interaction, and respond to welfare concerns.

The role requires positivity, reliability, and the ability to build strong relationships with children and staff, with DBS-enhanced checks prior to appointment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is desirable.
• Ability to supervise and support lunchtime activities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils in dining hall and outdoor areas.
• Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction.
• Support play and social activities during lunch.
• Ensure wellbeing of children throughout lunch period.
• Assist with setting up and clearing dining areas and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Respond to minor accidents or welfare concerns.
• Build positive relationships with children and colleagues.
