Job summary

Addington School is part of the Ascendancy Partnership Trust, a Berkshire-based group of SEN schools. The Lunchtime Controller role supports pupils aged 3-19 during lunch in Farley Hill, ensuring safety, engagement, and well-being. The post runs 7.5 hours per week, term-time only, at Farley Hill location with DBS checks required.

Salary £4,479 per annum plus £269 SEN Allowance, with opportunities for staff development within a collaborative school community.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting children and young people with SEND.
• Willingness to undergo safeguarding checks including reference checks and enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Provide lunchtime supervision and help set out tables for lunch.
• Assist children with eating and ensure lunch area is clean and tidy for the afternoon session.
• Keep children engaged in suitable activities, supervise indoors and outdoors.
• Support children with personal care as needed.
