Job summary

Addington School, part of the Ascendancy Partnership Trust, is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs at our Farley Hill site. This part-time role covers 11.67 hours per week during term time plus 2 INSET days, with shifts on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8.50 am to 3.25 pm.

• Experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) preferred.
• Willingness to work in a special school setting with a coaching culture.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the general management of pupils and learning activities.
• Prepare the classroom and set out resources for lessons.
• Support pupils with individual needs to create a bespoke learning environment.
• Assist with behaviour management plans and strategies as required.
