Job summary

Addington School, part of Ascendancy Partnership Trust, is seeking a Teacher Assistant to join our SEN-focused team at Farley Hill. You will support with high-quality education, work with pupils with special needs, and help adapt lessons for individual learners.

We offer a coaching culture, professional development, and access to Pension Scheme. The role is based at Farley Hill, 32.5 hours per week during term time plus INSET days, with a salary in the range of £22,419–£24,319 plus SEN Allowance.

Qualifications

• A Teacher Assistant who can work alongside teachers to provide high-quality education.
• Experience of working with pupils with special needs and supporting all class activities.
• Able to interpret and adapt lessons to support educational programmes.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering high-quality education to pupils.
• Support small groups across key stages during lessons and activities.
• Promote inclusive learning and participate in classroom activities.
• Contribute to safeguarding and welfare of pupils as part of the team.
