Job summary

Addington School, part of the Ascendancy Partnership Trust, is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for its Farley Hill site. The role is 30 hours per week during term time, plus 2 INSET days, with shifts Mon-Fri and a salary of £18,081–£18,368 per year plus a £1,087 SEN Allowance.

Work with pupils aged 3–19 with SEND across two sites. The post offers opportunities for staff development, safeguarding, and a supportive, coaching culture within a trusted SEN environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children and young people with special educational needs.
• Ability to assist with classroom setup, resources, and individual pupil support.
• Experience with behaviour management and implementing behaviour plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general management of pupils and prepare the classroom, setting out resources to support learning.
• Support pupils with special educational needs to create a bespoke learning environment.
• Contribute to managing pupil behaviour and implement behaviour plans when required.
