Job summary

Addington School in Reading is seeking a part-time Lunchtime Controller to support pupils during lunch breaks. You will help set tables, supervise students, assist with eating, and keep the lunch area clean for the afternoon session.

We cater for pupils aged 3–19 with SEND across two sites. The role requires DBS checks and safeguarding commitments; experience with children and young people is desirable. Training and development are encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with setting out tables for lunch and helping children eat.
• Ensure lunch area is cleaned and tidy for the afternoon session.
• Supervise children inside and outside the building and support with personal care as needed.
