Job summary

Sofitel London Gatwick is seeking a friendly luggage porter to warmly welcome guests, assist with luggage, and fulfill requests promptly.

You will greet guests with a smile, open doors, and help guests in and out of vehicles. Knowledge of hotel facilities and local attractions will help provide accurate information to guests. Growth opportunities exist within the Arora group.

Responsibilities

• Luggage porters in our team provide a warm welcome to our guests, assisting with their luggage and fulfilling their requests promptly and efficiently.
• Greet our guest with a warm welcome and an infectious smile
• Assists our guests in and out vehicles by opening doors graciously and courteously.
• Ensuring all luggage needs are dealt with promptly and professionally.
• Knowledgeable about the hotel facilities, activities, promotions, and happenings in the local area to provide accurate information.
• Deliver or collect any guest's packages, messages, and letters from their rooms.
• Manage luggage storage room ensuring luggage is labelled and stored neatly.
