About the Role

As a Luggage Porter, you will ensure our guest journey begins and ends with a flawless experience. Your role is to create memorable first impressions while exemplifying the sophistication and warmth that Sofitel is renowned for.

What you will be doing?

• Greet all guests at the front door politely and courteously and guide them towards the reception desk or function rooms.
• Assist guests with their luggage during check-ins and check-outs.
• Carry guests' luggage to and from their rooms upon check-in and check-out.
• Ensure that all guest property is safely handled and stored in the Luggage Room.
• Comply with standards of grooming, elegance, and playfulness.
• Replace Doorman at the door when necessary.
• Handle vehicle parking for guests as per procedure.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driving license and be entitled to work in the UK as this position is not eligible for sponsorship.
• Previous experience as a Luggage Porter in a hotel is beneficial but not essential.
• A smart and professional appearance.
• A positive attitude and good communication skills.
• A willingness to undertake physically demanding tasks.
• Carefulness when driving guests' cars.
