Job summary

Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill is seeking a friendly, professional Luggage Porter to welcome guests, assist with luggage, and guide them with local information. You will coordinate transportation, parking, and directions, maintaining a pristine entrance and collaborating with the Front Office for an exceptional guest experience.

Ideal candidates have customer-focused hospitality experience, strong communication, and a can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a guest-facing hospitality role is advantageous, although full training will be provided.
• The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
• A good knowledge of the local area and the ability to work flexibly, including weekends and holidays, would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide a professional first impression of the hotel.
• Assist guests with their luggage during arrival, departure, and throughout their stay.
• Provide information on hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
• Arrange transportation and assist guests with taxi bookings when required.
• Support guests with parking arrangements and directions.
• Ensure the hotel entrance, driveway, and surrounding areas are clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
• Open doors and provide assistance to guests entering and leaving the hotel.
• Work closely with the Front Office team to ensure a seamless and memorable guest experience.
