Job summary

Academics is recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants to support partner schools in Cannock on long-term and day-to-day supply roles. You will work with teachers, SENCOs and parents to support pupils' learning and emotional wellbeing.

The role requires experience in primary settings with SEN, a Level 2 TA certificate or equivalent, and a willingness to start ASAP. DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting a primary class and SEN (essential).
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant certificate or recent education experience.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils learning and emotional wellbeing in collaboration with staff.
• Work with class teachers, SENCOs, parents and external professionals to ensure effective communication.
• Assist in long-term, short-term and day-to-day cover in Cannock area.
