Job summary

Academics Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic Upper Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant for September opportunities across Cannock and surrounding areas. Roles include day-to-day supply, short-term placements and longer-term roles, with schools across the region.

You will support whole-class learning, build positive relationships, hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS, and commute to Cannock. Competitive daily rates with holiday pay, and dedicated consultant support throughout registration.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children in a primary school environment.
• Able to support whole-class learning while adapting activities to meet individual pupils’ needs.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents and external professionals.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
• Fully registered to work for Academics.
• Able to commute to Cannock.

Responsibilities

• Support Upper Key Stage 2 classes across Cannock and surrounding areas.
• Adapt activities to meet individual pupil needs while supporting whole-class learning.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to deliver engaging lessons.
• Maintain safeguarding standards and DBS compliance.
