Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking a caring SEND Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil at a welcoming primary school in Prenton. The role is long-term, with a start date on 12th October and a potential to become permanent.

Hours are 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will have prior SEND experience, be confident with 1:1 support, and bring a calm, nurturing approach. You will work closely with the class teacher to support learning and day-to-day school life,

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND.
• Ability to provide 1:1 support to a pupil.
• Calm, patient and nurturing approach.
• Ability to build strong relationships with pupils.

Responsibilities

• Support the pupil with learning, confidence, communication and day-to-day school activities.
• Collaborate with the class teacher and school staff to ensure continuity of support.
• Contribute to a positive, stable and encouraging classroom environment.
