Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a dedicated 1-1 SEND Teaching Assistant in Bristol to support students aged 11 to 16 with complex needs. The role involves providing personalized educational support for young people with SEMH and ADHD, fostering a positive learning environment and encouraging student engagement.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 6 months' experience supporting young people with challenging behaviour.
• Experience working within SEND schools, Pupil Referral Units (PRUs), or Alternative Provision.
• A genuine commitment to securing a long-term SEND Teaching Assistant position.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for students with SEMH, EBD, and ADHD.
• Promote engagement in learning and manage behaviours positively.
