Job summary

Team Educate Ltd. is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in the Bristol area, supporting a child on a 1:1 basis. The role is full-time, 8:30–15:30, Monday to Friday, with a September start.

The successful candidate will have relevant classroom experience, good communication and organisation skills, and a valid DBS. UK right to work and two references are required.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications to the role.
• Experience within a classroom setting or in working with children.
• Good communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
• Experience of working with children with SEN (beneficial but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Supporting students on a 1:1 basis within the classroom environment.
• Providing additional support to students who may be falling behind academically.
• Work alongside the class teacher to collate resources for lessons and set up learning activities.
• Supporting the class teacher with additional administration tasks to maintain efficiency in the classroom.
