Job summary

OTIS LIMITED in London is seeking a maintenance mechanic to safeguard passenger safety while maintaining a portfolio of lifts across the London area. You will perform regular service visits, troubleshoot faults, and liaise with customers on-site to build strong working relationships.

The role requires an NVQ or equivalent in lift service, a valid UK driving license, and at least 2 years' experience in the lift industry, with a focus on safety, electrical engineering skills, and a willingness to

Qualifications

• Be NVQ, or equivalent, qualified within lift service, repair and/or maintenance.
• Hold a valid UK drivers license.
• You have at least 24 months of experience in the lift industry.
• You have good skills in electricity and electrical engineering.
• You are a committed professional, with safety as your priority.
• You are comfortable communicating to others.
• You are curious, adaptable, and you know how to work alone or in a team.
• You are comfortable using electronic and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 100% of the lift maintenance and service visits of the units within the London area.
• Work within and across the London area, managing the portfolio of lifts across it.
• Respond proactively and quickly to fix any breakdowns, aiming to achieve first time fix.
• Carry out minor repairs to achieve continual operation.Liaise directly with the customer while on site to build a good working relationship.
