Job summary

Otis in London is seeking a Technician to maintain elevators and escalators across the London area. You will ensure safety and reliability while carrying out planned maintenance and responding to breakdowns.

You'll work with a team, but also be able to work independently, using electrical/electronic skills. A NVQ 4 or equivalent and a valid driver's license are required. Training, a company car, tools, iPhone, and pension are provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ 4 or equivalent in lift servicing and repairs.
• Strong skills in electricity and electrical engineering.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to communicate effectively and work with others.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 100% elevator maintenance and service visits in your territory.
• Manage the portfolio of elevators within your defined area.
• Respond quickly to fix breakdowns and aim for first-time fix.
• Liaise with customers on site to build good working relationships.
