Job summary

Otis is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to service and maintain a portfolio of lifts, ensuring passenger safety. Based in Oxfordshire, you will service units, communicate with clients, address breakdowns, and perform minor repairs, joining a global leader in elevator technology.

Qualifications

Hold an NVQ level 3 in lift service, maintenance, or repair.
Hold a drivers license.
You have at least 24 months of experience in the elevator sector.
You have good skills in electricity and electrical engineering.
You are a committed professional, with safety as your priority.
You are comfortable communicating to others.
You are curious, adaptable, and you know how to work alone or in a team.
You are comfortable using electronic and digital tools.

Responsibilities

Perform routine service checks on a number of units across the site, recording and escalating your findings to the field manager.
Be the face of the business, often providing updates to clients around work carried out.
React to sudden breakdowns, working with both passengers and the client to provide a technical solution to breakdown issues.
Perform minor repairs.
