Job summary

Otis Elevator Co. in London is seeking a Service Engineer to maintain elevator and escalator units on site for a key client. You will ensure safe operation and timely responses across the London area.

The role requires NVQ or equivalent in lift service/maintenance, at least 2 years of experience, strong electrical skills, and the ability to work alone or in a team. You’ll join a global leader with comprehensive training and career development.

Qualifications

• NVQ or equivalent qualified within lift service, repair and/or maintenance.
• At least 24 months of experience in the lift industry.
• Good skills in electricity and electrical engineering.
• Safety must be a priority on site.
• Comfortable communicating to others on site.
• Curious, adaptable and able to work alone or in a team.
• Comfortable using electronic and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 100% of the lift maintenance and service visits of the units within the London area.
• Work within and across the London area, managing the portfolio of lifts across it.
• Respond proactively and quickly to fix any breakdowns, aiming to achieve first time fix.
• Carry out minor repairs to achieve continual operation.
• Liaise directly with the customer while on site to build a good working relationship.
