Job summary

Sompo International is seeking a Manager, Corporate FP&A based in London. You will join the Global FP&A team to support quarterly forecasting and annual planning, review forecasts, and produce insightful analyses and executive-ready presentations.

The role demands strong analytical and communication skills, with at least 2 years FP&A experience in insurance or reinsurance, and the ability to work across teams to drive better planning, profitability insights, and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field; MBA/CPA/CFA preferred but not required.
• Minimum 2 years FP&A experience in the insurance/reinsurance industry.
• Ability to analyze and succinctly summarize financial results.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Team player with ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in budgeting software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage quarterly forecasting and annual planning processes; review forecasts and plans.
• Produce analysis to enhance forecasting quality, including underwriting and profitability insights.
• Perform scenario modelling and stress testing on planning processes.
• Facilitate decision-making by analyzing financial information and trends.
• Support development of executive presentations for boards and leadership.
• Develop new processes and reports to improve planning efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with partners to obtain necessary information and documentation.
• Model a high-performance culture emphasizing accountability and collaboration.
