Job summary

Sompo Holdings, Inc. in London is seeking a Manager, Corporate FP&A to join the Corporate FP&A team. The role focuses on quarterly forecasting, annual planning, and delivering insightful analysis to support decision‑making.

You will prepare executive presentations, develop scenarios, and partner with business leaders to drive profitability and underwriting insights. Hybrid work with a collaborative finance function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Accounting, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics).
• Minimum of 2 years Financial Planning & Analysis experience in the insurance/reinsurance industry.
• Ability to understand, analyze and succinctly summarize financial results.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; works well in teams and independently.
• Technical skills in budgeting software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage quarterly forecasting and annual planning processes.
• Review forecasts and plans and develop further analysis.
• Produce analysis to enhance the quality of the Plan, including underwriting and profitability insights.
• Create scenario modelling and stress testing analyses for planning.
• Facilitate executive decision-making with financial information and industry trends.
• Develop new reporting tools and presentations for stakeholders, including the board.
