Sompo is seeking a Manager, Corporate FP&A in London to join the Global Financial Planning & Analysis team. The role reports to the Corporate FP&A function, providing leadership in forecasting, planning and analysis for insurance business units.

You will develop insights on profitability, support board-ready presentations, and drive efficiency by building new planning processes and reports. A strong quantitative background and communication skills are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in quantitative field (e.g. Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics).
• MBA, CPA, and/or CFA preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 2 years Financial Planning & Analysis experience in insurance/reinsurance.
• Ability to understand, analyze and succinctly summarize financial results.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Manage quarter forecasting and annual planning processes.
• Review and understand forecasts and plans and develop analysis.
• Produce analysis to enhance plan quality, including underwriting and profitability insights.
• Produce scenario modelling and stress testing analyses on planning.
• Facilitate decision-making by analyzing financial info, trends and conditions.
• Support development of presentations to stakeholders including the board and executives.
• Develop new processes and reports to enhance planning and tools for efficiency.
• Collaborate with partners to obtain necessary information and documentation.
