Job summary

Cadent Gas Ltd is seeking an IT Field Technical Analyst based in London to provide frontline technical support across the network. Within IT Service Operations, you will be the trusted local IT expert, supporting colleagues and ensuring they have the tools, technology and support needed to work effectively.

This hands-on role covers 1st–3rd line support, local IT infrastructure management and acting as a key contact for technical issues across your network.

Qualifications

• Experience in a 2nd/3rd line support role in a medium to large organisation.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical support across multiple technologies.
• Microsoft technologies and Active Directory experience.
• Desktop, laptop and mobile device support.
• Telephony and networking technologies.
• SAP and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Hardware support including printers, laptops and AV equipment.
• Network fault diagnosis experience.
• Knowledge of Cisco and Avaya telephony environments desirable.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
• Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel regularly across sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline IT support across operational sites, resolving issues quickly and effectively.
• Support desktop, networking, applications, telephony, mobile devices and AV technologies.
• Take ownership of incidents from identification to resolution with strong service delivery.
• Build relationships with users from staff to senior leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve first-time fixes and service efficiency.
• Support multiple sites across the network with hands-on assistance.
