Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited is seeking a Cloud (Data Center) Site Service Engineer to join our London-based on-site team. You will manage data center services, provide Smart Hands support, and coordinate contractors to ensure compliance with established practices and local regulations.

The role involves monitoring alarms, maintaining inventory, and overseeing preventive maintenance, capacity and environmental controls. This position offers challenging projects and a global, diverse team culture.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Data Center Services.
• Provide Smart Hands support at data center site including 24/7 emergency high touch requests.
• On-site management of COLO/DC contractors, sub-contractors and vendors, ensuring adherence to practices and local legislation.

Responsibilities

• Arrange periodic and ad hoc servicing/repair and Preventive Maintenance schedules.
• React to alarms (BMS or Plant type alarms) and environmental condition reports.
• Manage DC inventory and DCIM tool; maintain device labeling and asset tracking.
• Generate change management requests and incident tickets for DC facility.
• Review COLO/DC contract compliance and ensure SLAs are met.
• Interact with providers to coordinate infrastructure changes and CRQ execution.
