Job summary

Amazon Data Services UK Limited in the Thames Valley region seeks a Data Centre Technician to join a UK-based team. You will become primary resolver for your support group, troubleshoot hardware and rack-level events, and work with regional sites to keep the data center running efficiently.

24/7 shift coverage is required, with potential 12-hour shifts and travel up to 10%. A high school diploma, hardware troubleshooting and networking experience, and strong customer‑facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience in networking.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting of facility and rack-level events within internal SLAs
• Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures
• Ensure all safety procedures are adhered to while performing work
• Respond to off hour emergency calls per on call rotation for any one of the region’s sites
• Fully comply with all physical security procedures and policies.
• Must be commutable to the Thames Valley Region.
