Job summary

Mansell Recruitment Group is recruiting a diligent Logistics Coordinator for a well-established manufacturer near Steyning. The role focuses on ensuring smooth warehouse operations, including receipt, storage, picking and dispatch of parts, while upholding safety, accuracy and customer service.

You will coordinate goods, liaise with suppliers and transport providers, handle import/export documentation, and operate forklifts.

• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft 365.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Self-motivated team player who can also work independently.
• Able to thrive under pressure and multitask.
• Physically fit for warehouse duties.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the receipt, assembly, and timely dispatch of goods.
• Liaise with suppliers and transport providers.
• Process import/export customs documentation.
• Pick, pack, and prepare parts to excellent standards.
• Operate counterbalance forklifts and handling equipment.
• Maintain accurate stock records and inventory (FIFO).
• Support warehouse organisation, space utilisation, and housekeeping.
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety standards.
