Job summary

Hales Group is hiring a Stock & Logistics Coordinator in Hitchin to manage stock records, process orders and coordinate deliveries. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with sales, purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure timely dispatch and accurate stock information.

You will monitor stock levels, prepare reports, liaise with couriers and suppliers, and support goods-in and dispatch activities. A proactive, flexible mindset and driving licence are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, stock control, warehouse administration or similar coordination roles.
• Proficient IT skills including Excel and internal systems.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately using internal systems and Excel.
• Create and manage purchase orders and sales orders.
• Maintain accurate customer, stock and order information.
• Update internal databases and administrative records.
• Generate reports and support inventory management activities.
