Job summary

Trusted Recruiter is recruiting on behalf of an established organisation within the healthcare and specialist manufacturing sector for a Logistics Team Leader to join its Leeds operation.

This is a hands-on role where you will lead a small team of three, oversee stock, purchasing and despatch, and work closely with Production and other departments to keep the logistics moving smoothly. Strong people skills and a proactive approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, warehousing or manufacturing with supervisory or team-lead experience.
• Experience with stock control, purchasing and goods-in/despatch processes.

Logistics Team Leader - Leeds

£29,000-£30,000 DOE | Private Healthcare | 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Trusted Recruiter is recruiting on behalf of an established organisation within the healthcare and specialist manufacturing sector for a Logistics Team Leader to join its Leeds operation.

This is a hands-on role where you will oversee a small team of three, taking responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of logistics while working closely with Production and several other departments across the business.

We're looking for someone who combines good logistics knowledge with strong people skills – someone organised, proactive and, importantly, a good team player.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a logistics team of three
• Manage stock, inventory and stock checks
• Process purchase orders and liaise with suppliers
• Oversee goods receipt, storage and despatch
• Ensure materials are available to support production
• Monitor Logistics KPIs and operational standards
• Support training, 1-2-1s and team development
• Work closely with other departments across the business
• Maintain high standards of quality and Health & Safety

About You

You will ideally have experience within logistics, warehousing or manufacturing, together with previous supervisory or team leadership experience.

Experience of stock control, purchasing and goods-in/despatch processes is important. Knowledge of SAP Business One would be advantageous but is not essential.

Package & Hours

£29,000-£30,000, negotiable depending on experience

25 days' holiday + bank holidays

Monday-Thursday: 8:30am-5:00pm

Friday: 8:30am-4:00pm
