Job summary

Source 4 in Reading is seeking an experienced Logistics & Fulfilment Supervisor/Manager to lead a hands-on team and own day-to-day performance. You will ensure smooth operations, on-time delivery, and high standards of safety and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with production and client services to hit targets, manage resources and drive continuous improvement while maintaining cost awareness and quality controls.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience within logistics, fulfilment or warehouse operations.
• Proven ability to lead a team and coordinate resources to hit targets.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, safety rules and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supporting production management with resource planning and utilisation

• Managing and supporting a team, including absence management, holidays, training and development

Location: Reading
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday | 08:30 - 17:00

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Logistics & Fulfilment Supervisor / Manager to join our client's team in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on logistics professional who enjoys leading a team, improving processes and taking ownership of day-to-day operational performance. You'll play a key role in ensuring logistics and fulfilment operations run smoothly, efficiently and to schedule, while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

• Previous supervisory or management experience within logistics, fulfilment or warehouse operations
• Proven experience managing and leading a team
• Strong understanding of warehouse and logistics operations
• Experience working within a fast-paced environment
• Competent using order processing, ERP or warehouse management systems
• Strong Excel, data handling and reporting skills
• Good understanding of Health & Safety and compliance
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of cost control
