Müller UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to lead our Leeds logistics team. You will drive performance, safety, and cost efficiency while delivering high service levels to internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include depot operations, KPI delivery, staffing, and continuous improvement. The role requires strong leadership, data-driven decision making, and experience in transport operations within a unionized or fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 GCSEs (A-C or equivalent).
• CPC Transport Manager certificate of professional competence required.
• IOSH certification preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing logistics team.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental Management Systems.
• Manage depot operations, including rota planning, staffing, and cost control.
• Deliver against KPIs and OGSM targets.
• Drive customer service excellence for internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure legal compliance for drivers and vehicles.
• Conduct performance reviews, training, and disciplinary procedures.
• Promote wellbeing, diversity and inclusivity at site level.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics Operations Managerto lead our Logistics team in Leeds. You'll lead a high-performing team, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with all legal and safety standards.

• Location: Leeds (WF6 1RY)
• Contract:Full Time/Permanent
• Shift: Monday-Friday (40 hours)

Qualifications

Essential:

• Minimum 5 GCSEs (A-C or equivalent)
• Licence CPC Certification to Transport manager certificate of professional Competence.
• IOSH Certification

Desired:

• Experience in milk or food logistics
• Familiarity with unionized environments (e.g., USDAW)
