Job summary

IMI plc is seeking a Team Leader for the Store and Packing areas in Poole. You will lead a logistics team, coordinate goods inwards, stores and dispatch, and drive world-class on-time delivery while maintaining stock accuracy and lean improvements.

You will work closely with production and planning teams, manage performance and development, and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards to support IMI's manufacturing excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience leading logistics or stores teams in manufacturing.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities.
• Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP concepts and materials control.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a logistics team to meet targets.
• Oversee day-to-day activities and resource deployment.
• Conduct performance reviews and support development.
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and inductions.
• Monitor attendance, wellbeing and policy compliance.
• Ensure materials flow with production and planning teams.
• Drive stock accuracy and cycle counting.
• Coordinate packing, stores and dispatch to ensure on-time delivery.
• Lead continuous improvement using lean tools and KPI tracking.
• Report KPIs and take corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
