Job summary

IMI plc, Poole site, is seeking a QA Workflow Supervisor to coordinate QA and QC team work with the production planning function. You will ensure inspection packs are created, priorities set to align with planning, and act as the single point of contact for daily QA/QC scheduling.

The role requires strong organisation, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a site-based position at IMI Poole, UK.

• Experience in a planning function within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication across multiple business areas.
• Ability to negotiate conflicting demands calmly and professionally.
• Excellent time management and delivery track record.

Responsibilities

• Serve as QA/QC planning representative at BPM and other planning meetings.
• Be the single point of contact for QA/QC planning and capacity requirements.
• Plan and schedule QC lab and dye-pen activities based on BPM data and requests.
• Monitor and progress QC-related NCRs, feeding updates to planning and projects.
• Arrange external inspections (ultrasonic, dye-pen, visual) as needed to meet business needs.
• Coordinate internal PMI testing and liaise with QA/QC teams on overtime for business requirements.
• Support departmental improvement projects from a planning perspective.
• Perform other duties commensurate with the post.
