Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Logistics Product Development Lead for UKI (Felixstowe or Liverpool). This office-based role focuses on growth within Lead Logistics, collaborating with commercial and solution design teams to win new business and expand existing customers.

The role translates customer needs into end-to-end supply chain solutions, engages clients, and contributes to tenders and proposals, acting as a trusted advisor on optimization.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development or sales within logistics or supply chain.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain concepts (PO management, control tower, 4PL/LLP models).
• Able to engage customers and sell complex, solution-based offerings.
• Structured, proactive and results-oriented with credibility in customer-facing roles.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business acquisition for Lead Logistics solutions in the NEC region.
• Engage customers to understand their end-to-end supply chain from origin to destination.
• Translate customer needs into tailored logistics and control tower solutions.
• Support and contribute to solution design with internal experts and engineers.
• Collaborate with sales, product and operations to position value-driven solutions.
• Contribute to tenders, proposals and commercial negotiations.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers on supply chain optimization.
