Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Solutions Design Manager to lead end-to-end contract logistics solutions across the UK and Ireland. You will advise sales and operations, develop innovative warehousing concepts, and ensure commercially viable, scalable designs.

Qualifications

• Strong Contract Logistics experience across 3PL and solution design teams.
• Experience with international supply chains and value drivers for customers.
• Expertise in warehouse operations, automation, modelling, and design principles.
• Knowledge of trade, regulatory and compliance requirements for logistics.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end contract logistics solutions including layouts and cost models.
• Develop innovative concepts and value propositions for warehousing and logistics.
• Analyse large data sets to support solution development and decision-making.
• Lead solution design deliverables with risk and dependency management.
• Engage with sales and operations to ensure alignment in proposal processes.
• Create facility layouts using AutoCAD or SketchUp to support proposals.
