Are you an experienced Logistics Manager looking to work on a cutting-edge nuclear project partnering with one of the UK's most prestigious organisations?

Key Duties
  • Responsible for defining on-Site construction Logistics strategy, layout, working zones, set up, transportation movements and operational requirements.
  • Working with HS&E team provide safe logistics working practices for onsite logistics personal and separation from moving traffic.
  • Support and provide site layout designs and updates with architectural team to include temporary buried services requirements.
  • Interface with off-site logistics team to establish key activities and interaction requirements for controlling and managing receipt of transportation deliveries and returns.
  • Provide data and information towards the RR SMR Deliverables in support of RD10 & BD Opportunities e.g. overall logistics Build Schedule, 3D digital modelling, site operational logistics etc, and site layout and adjacencies.
  • Utilise and revise all on-site traffic movements and required road network throughout the power station construction programme.
  • Work closely with Site Factory team to provide process and operational requirements for movements into and out of this facility.
  • Maintain up to date logistics schedule with regular updates into the first of a fleet PMO IES Schedule.
  • Author RD10 deliverable reports, using information from collaboration with key stakeholders particularly the civils team including construction phases. With supporting data from MSA specialist logistics teams.
  • Support to RR SMR Business Development team as required.
Skills / Qualifications / Experience
  • Degree or similar qualifications in logistics
  • Minimum of 8-10 years' relevant experience in Logistics
  • Strong relationship and negotiating skills
  • Strong Project Management skills, end to end process design and collaborative working with Logistics partners
  • Secondee role to support head of logistics manager in WP9.13 and integrate with CSA teams and wider SMR team in working towards RD10 & BD Opportunities.
  • To Investigate, support, and provide recommendations regarding On-Site Logistics activities.
  • Identify best practice opportunities in collaboration with logistics experts.
