Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Shift Maintenance Technician for a UK site. You will maintain, repair and support equipment within the Dematic scope of contract, ensuring reliable delivery to meet KPI targets and keep the system running smoothly.

You will diagnose faults in mechanical, electrical, electronic, and PLC systems, perform repairs, and record all work while adhering to health and safety standards. Experience with conveyors is highly valued.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3/ONC in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering is required or highly preferred.
• IOSH working safely is desirable.
• Recognised engineering apprenticeship is desirable.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, electronic systems and PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and support equipment within the Dematic scope of contract on the customer site.
• Meet KPI targets through reliable delivery of maintenance tasks.
• Undertake scheduled AMHE equipment servicing per manuals and standards.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic, PLC faults and perform repairs.
• Record all work accurately and maintain safety and quality standards.
