Job summary

Dematic is seeking a maintenance engineer to support the resident maintenance contract at DHL East Midlands. You will perform AMHE equipment servicing, undertake scheduled repairs, diagnose faults across mechanical, electrical, electronic, PLC and PC systems, and maintain records.

You will ensure health and safety compliance, uphold quality processes, and maintain spare parts on-site while representing Dematic professionally to customers.

Qualifications

• ONC in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship or similar training
• Ability to read & interpret mechanical/electrical/electronic manuals and drawings
• Experience servicing AMHE equipment and performing repairs

Responsibilities

• Carry out AMHE equipment servicing in accordance with manuals and schedules
• Undertake scheduled repairs per manufacturers recommendations and industry practices
• Diagnose Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / PLC / PC faults and perform repairs
• Prioritise system faults and manage repairs to minimize downtime
• Adhere to Health & Safety legislation at all times
• Ensure quality of output and record all work undertaken
• Contribute to continuous improvement and identify sales opportunities
• Maintain product flow and keep on-site spares at optimum levels
• Represent the company professionally and maintain customer relations
• Adhere to quality processes and procedures set by the company
• Understand pre-preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules
• Have working knowledge of FEM and BS standards for automated warehouses
