Job summary

DFDS is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator in Immingham to ensure reliable service across transport and warehouse operations. You will liaise with customers, planners, warehouses, and suppliers to manage deliveries and maintain high customer satisfaction.

The role requires proactive communication, strong organisational skills, and attention to detail. You will work Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00, within a supportive team that values continuous improvement and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics or transport customer service.
• Strong communication and planning skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and transport management systems.

Responsibilities

• Delivering excellent customer service through clear, timely communication and understanding customer requirements.
• Processing customer call offs and updating stock and transport management systems.
• Creating accurate documentation to support delivery and transport activities.
• Liaising with warehouses and transport planners to ensure operational plans are achieved.
• Monitoring delivery status and providing customers with regular updates.
• Capturing and maintaining KPI data, reports, returns documentation, and invoicing information.
• Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, operational teams, and other key stakeholders.
