Job summary

Just Recruitment supports a well-established business on the outskirts of Ipswich in recruiting a Booking Coordinator Support. You will ensure bookings are recorded accurately, verify haulage details, and manage load requirements ahead of arrival.

Reporting to the Business Support Manager, duties include liaising with customers, hauliers and site personnel, maintaining booking records, and supporting transport planning. Full driving license and vehicle access are essential due to site location.

Qualifications

• Previous administration, logistics or customer service experience.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Experience managing multiple tasks and competing priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Professional telephone manner and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with customers, hauliers and site personnel regarding scheduled deliveries.
• Maintaining accurate booking records and load tracking information.
• Managing customer booking requests received by telephone, email and company management systems.
• Processing customer enquiries promptly and professionally.
• Ensuring customer requirements are communicated accurately to operational teams.
• Assisting with transport planning activities to ensure the efficient allocation of vehicles and resources.
• Liaising with drivers, transport providers and operational teams regarding scheduling requirements.
• Maintaining operational spreadsheets, reports and booking records.
• Supporting the continuous improvement of booking and administration processes.
