Job summary

LME Recruitment Limited currently seeks a proactive Transport Operations Planner to coordinate day-to-day transport using 3rd party hauliers, planning multi-drops, straight loads and back loads to keep collections and deliveries running safely and on time.

You will build efficient routes, track ETAs, manage delays, and liaise with customers, depots and internal teams while ensuring paperwork and TMS/POD updates are accurate. This is a hands-on on-site role based near Ipswich.

Qualifications

• Transport/logistics planning experience.
• Strong organisation, calm under pressure, great communication.
• Confident with transport systems/TMS.
• Proactive problem-solver.

Role: Transport Operations Planner

Location: Outskirts of Ipswich, Suffolk

Monday – Friday: 08:00 – 17:00

About the Role

We're looking for a proactive Transport Operations Planner to coordinate day-to-day transport using 3rd party hauliers. You’ll plan multi-drops, straight loads and back loads (non-container) to keep collections and deliveries running safely and on time.
