Galaxy Personnel is seeking a Logistics Agent for maternity cover in Bury St Edmunds. The role includes maintaining compliance, inventory, and health and safety standards, with orders placed via SAP and customer inquiries handled through Salesforce.

Salary is £26,228 per year, with a Monday–Friday training schedule and a Tuesday–Saturday after training. The ideal candidate will be organized, safety-conscious, and capable of coordinating with drivers and warehouse operations to ensure smooth

Responsibilities

• Support site management in compliance obligations, inventory, financial, health and safety, and transport.
• Contribute to a safety-first operation and drive towards an incident free workplace.
• Proactive approach to Health & Safety Management by undertaking site daily walkabouts, identifying Safety Observations, Near Misses and ensuring any actions raised are dealt with in timely fashion.
• Place orders on system for delivery/collection using SAP.
• Take Inbound/outbound calls for customer orders, queries, and general information, utilizing Salesforce programme.
• Receipt stock in/out received in barrels.
• Inventory stock control, complete physical stock counts and be able to enter stock counts onto system.
• Raise and receipt Purchase orders and ensure correct stock levels are maintained.
• Review daily aborts, cancels, and fill returns.
• Support drivers in reviewing daily runs, printing loading sheets and manifests.
• Track our drivers through Telematics system.
• General housekeeping.

• Salary: £26,228 per year.
• Training Shifts: Monday to Friday.
• Post-Training Shift Pattern: Tuesday to Saturday, 11:00-19:00.
