A vacancy has arisen within our Logistics department based in Biggleswade for a Logistics Administrator.

Based in the warehouse office and focussing on import declarations, data collation and reconciliation, this is a key role actively supporting the administrative requirements of the logistics teams. To ensure administrative procedures are adhered to and developed whilst working within the Company’s key result areas; Business Performance, Customer Focus, People and Teamwork.

Your responsibilities as a Logistics Administrator

  • First point of contact for Internal and External visitors to the warehouse.
  • Accurate and timely input of import declarations.
  • Import/Export data collation and reconcillation.
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to processes and systems to drive administrative efficiencies.
  • Create systems documentation and training guides for processes.
  • Resolving internal queries.
  • General administrative tasks and document management.

To be successful as a Logistics Administrator

  • Have a strong customer service ethic with a positive and pro-active approach.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Flexible approach to work, be self-motivated and able to demonstrate use of own initiative.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
  • Confident in manipulating large datasets using formulae and data analysis techniques.
  • Ability to use MS Excel proficiently to a high standard (including Lookups and pivots).
  • Be able to work with different teams in support of data clarity and issue resolution.
