Logistics Administrator - Biggleswade

A vacancy has arisen within our Logistics department based in Biggleswade for a Logistics Administrator.

Based in the warehouse office and focusing on import declarations, data collation, and reconciliation, this is a key role supporting the administrative requirements of the logistics teams. The role involves ensuring adherence to administrative procedures and developing them within the framework of the Company’s key result areas: Business Performance, Customer Focus, People, and Teamwork.

Your responsibilities as a Logistics Administrator
  1. Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external visitors to the warehouse.
  2. Accurately and promptly input import declarations.
  3. Collate and reconcile import/export data.
  4. Identify and implement process and system improvements to enhance administrative efficiency.
  5. Create system documentation and training guides for processes.
  6. Resolve internal queries.
  7. Perform general administrative tasks and manage documents.
To be successful as a Logistics Administrator
  1. Possess a strong customer service ethic with a proactive approach.
  2. Have strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  3. Be flexible, self-motivated, and able to use initiative.
  4. Be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  5. Be confident in manipulating large datasets using formulas and data analysis techniques.
  6. Use MS Excel proficiently, including lookups and pivot tables.
  7. Work effectively with different teams to ensure data clarity and resolve issues.
